The album was recorded in 2006 at the Boom Corral and produced by the band members who are Ray Szwabowski, Jon Bray, Adam Smith, and Jon Hampton. Each member of the band has an affinity for burritos and is very serious. Nifty fold-together packaging, along with artwork by Allison Sommers and spray painted cd-r, this release from VA's Truman Sparks has a true DIY feel to the core. With chant along choruses and more tasty noodles throughout than a chinese buffet, you'll get the feeling of a land-locked Hawaii Five-O soundtrack that is best listened to on repeat, over and over and over and over again. Catch the Truman Sparks' wave. Ride it until your fins hit the shoreline. Don't be misled into thinking this is surf music (because it's not!), it just seems to have a solid fluid groove and encouraging twists and turns to keep you mentally (and physically) moving along with it. So do youself a favor: sing along, dance along, and let it get stuck in your head.
