"We should start a band that makes girls want to dance." That's what Ale said to me one night when the whiskey was half gone. The idea was brilliant in its simplicity. That's pretty much how Kill You in the Face started.
A few days later, the two of us found ourselves in a rehearsal space. For a little while we just kind of stood around gawking at each other.
"Play something."
"You First."
"C'mon man, just play a riff."
So I did. By the end of that first practice we had laid the groundwork for our flagship song. A song that we no longer play because it, in hindsight, was terrible. We've gone on to write much better songs.
For a while we had a revolving, but mostly vacant, place for a bass player. A set up like that would have been no problem if we didn't have a vision of world domination through music. But we did. That's when we found Adam.
So now we're pretty much ready to be a big deal. We've got some songs that are pretty and are happy-making. Frede even pressed us some pins. They're really awesome looking and I bet you want one. I can't wait for you to hear our songs. I really hope you like them.
